Installing Plugins & Modpacks
Install plugins via the file manager or upload a Forge/Fabric modpack the right way.
Plugins and modpacks add features, but files must be placed correctly.
Plugins (Paper/Spigot server)
- 1Download the plugin
.jarfile. - 2Open the file manager, go into the
plugins/folder. - 3Upload the
.jarthere. - 4Restart the server and check the console to confirm the plugin loaded.
Modpacks (Forge/Fabric)
- 1Pick the Forge/Fabric installer matching your Minecraft version.
- 2Run the installer server-side (via the provided setup), or upload the result.
- 3Put mods in the
mods/folder. - 4Restart and watch the console.
Modpacks need more RAM. See How to Choose the Right Server Plan.
Tips to avoid errors
- Make sure every plugin/mod matches the server version.
- Add a few at a time, not all at once — easier to find the culprit.
- Read the last console lines when something breaks; it usually names the conflicting plugin.
